About the Company
IBS Software is a leading SaaS solutions provider serving the global travel industry, managing mission-critical operations for customers in aviation, tour & cruise, hospitality, and energy. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, the company operates across multiple continents with a workforce of thousands — making scalable, inclusive wellness programs a meaningful strategic investment.
Across aviation, IBS Software covers fleet and crew operations, aircraft maintenance, passenger services, and loyalty programs. In hospitality, it offers a cloud-native unified platform spanning CRS, PMS, RMS, and distribution. Its energy and CDx divisions further extend its reach into logistics, digital transformation, and engineering services.
The Challenge
- IBS Software needed a wellness platform capable of addressing multiple dimensions of employee health simultaneously — not just physical activity, but nutrition, mental wellness, and heart health.
- The initiative needed to sustain engagement progressively across four weeks, rather than peaking in week one and dropping off.
- HR required real-time visibility into participation and activity levels across a large, distributed workforce.
The Approach
- IBS Software launched the "March to Fitness" campaign through Vantage Fit, running from March 1 to March 28, 2024.
- The challenge was structured to build progressively: Week 1 set a target of 5,000+ steps five days a week, alongside squats, mindfulness, and hydration tracking. Final-week targets escalated to 40,000 steps and a 35 km run/walk.
- Activities expanded week over week to include heart rate tracking, meal logging, 7-minute workouts, and yoga — ensuring holistic coverage.
- HR admins monitored real-time participation through the Vantage Fit dashboard, with access to individual progress and team standings.

Results
By the end of the campaign, IBS Software had achieved engagement levels that significantly exceeded the industry benchmark — and sustained that momentum through all four weeks.
- Over 500 employees joined the "March to Fitness" challenge.
- The engagement rate reached 88% — 17% above the industry benchmark.
- Participants averaged 5,000+ steps per day across the campaign, driving consistent physical activity alongside the holistic wellness goals.
- By week three, 236 employees were consistently completing 30,000+ steps per week.

- 98 employees engaged in squats; 95 dedicated time to mental wellness activities.
