How do I manage the content library?

Updated May 12, 2026 Admin

The content library in Vantage Fit lets you create and organize wellness content for your employees — articles, videos, and podcasts. You can also use content as challenge tasks, rewarding employees with points for engaging with educational material.

Accessing the Content Library

  1. Log in to the Vantage Fit Admin Dashboard.
  2. Go to Programs in the left sidebar.
  3. Click On-Demand Content.

Creating Content

Articles

  1. Click Create and select Article.
  2. Enter the title and body text using the rich text editor.
  3. Add a cover image.
  4. Select a category to organize the article.
  5. Optionally, add a quiz (see below).
  6. Click Publish to make it live, or Save as Draft to finish later.

Videos

  1. Click Create and select Video.
  2. Enter the title and description.
  3. Upload the video file or provide a video URL.
  4. Add a cover image (thumbnail).
  5. Select a category.
  6. Optionally, add a quiz.
  7. Publish or save as draft.

Podcasts

  1. Click Create and select Podcast.
  2. Enter the title and description.
  3. Upload the audio file or provide a podcast URL.
  4. Add a cover image.
  5. Select a category.
  6. Optionally, add a quiz.
  7. Publish or save as draft.

Adding Quizzes to Content

Quizzes help reinforce learning and can be tied to challenge points.

  1. While creating or editing a content item, scroll to the Quiz section.
  2. Add questions with multiple-choice answers.
  3. Mark the correct answer for each question.
  4. Save the quiz along with the content.

When employees consume the content and complete the quiz, they earn points (if the content is assigned as a challenge task).

Tip: Keep quizzes short — 3-5 questions is ideal. Make them about key takeaways from the content, not trick questions.

Publishing and Unpublishing

  • Publish — makes the content visible to employees in the app.
  • Unpublish — hides the content from the app without deleting it. Useful for seasonal content you want to reuse later.
  • Save as Draft — saves the content without making it visible. Finish editing later.

Organizing Content by Category

Categories help employees browse and discover content.

  1. When creating content, select an existing category or create a new one.
  2. Categories appear as filters in the employee's content library view.
  3. Organize by topic: Nutrition, Mental Health, Fitness, Mindfulness, Sleep, etc.

Tip: Create a handful of clear categories rather than many niche ones. Employees should be able to find what they need quickly.

Using Content as Challenge Tasks

One of the most powerful features of the content library is integrating it with challenges.

  1. Create a Custom challenge with weekly themes.
  2. When adding tasks to a theme, select Content as the task type.
  3. Choose a specific article, video, or podcast from your library.
  4. Set the points value for completing the content.
  5. Employees earn challenge points when they:
    • Read or watch the content.
    • Complete the quiz (if one is attached).

This turns passive content into an active challenge task — employees are motivated to engage with wellness education for points.

Content Targeting

Content can be targeted to specific employee demographics using tags:

  • Tag content by topic, difficulty level, or audience.
  • Employees see content that is relevant to their profile.
  • Use tags to personalize the content experience.

Best Practices

  • Mix content types. Combine articles, videos, and podcasts to appeal to different learning preferences.
  • Keep articles concise. 500-800 words is the sweet spot for mobile reading.
  • Use quizzes strategically. Add them to challenge-task content for engagement, but not to every piece of casual browsing content.
  • Update regularly. Stale content libraries see declining engagement. Add fresh content monthly.
  • Tie content to challenges. Content that earns challenge points gets 3-5x more engagement than standalone content.
  • Use seasonal themes. Mental health awareness month, fitness challenges in January, nutrition content in spring.
