Completed a great run? Hit a new personal record? Sharing your activities to the social feed lets your colleagues see what you've been up to and gives them a chance to cheer you on.
Sharing After a GPS Workout
The most common way to share an activity is right after completing a GPS-tracked workout (running, cycling, walking, etc.):
- When your workout ends, the app shows your workout summary -- distance, duration, pace, route map, and calories
- Look for the Share option on the summary screen
- Tap Share to Feed
- Optionally add a comment or caption (e.g., "Beautiful morning run around the park!")
- Post it
Your activity appears in the Community feed along with your workout stats and route map for colleagues to see and engage with.
Tip: Adding a short caption to your shared activity makes it more engaging. A few words about how you felt, the weather, or your route gives colleagues something to respond to.
Sharing From Activity History
Forgot to share right after your workout? No problem -- you can share from your activity history:
- Navigate to your activity history or Diary
- Find the activity you want to share
- Tap on it to open the details
- Look for the Share option
- Share to the Community feed
What Gets Shared
When you share an activity, the post typically includes:
- Activity type (run, walk, cycle, etc.)
- Key stats -- distance, duration, pace, calories burned
- Route map (for GPS-tracked workouts)
- Your caption (if you added one)
- Date and time of the activity
Colleagues can like, comment, and reply to your shared activity just like any other post in the feed.
Who Can See Your Shared Activities
Your shared activity is visible in the Community feed to colleagues in your organization. The exact visibility depends on your company's feed settings:
- Some organizations have a company-wide feed where all employees see all posts
- Others have department-based or location-based visibility
- The feed is also shared with the VantageCircle R&R platform, so colleagues using the broader VantageCircle platform may see your post too
Note: Sharing is always voluntary. Your activities are never automatically posted to the feed -- you always choose when and what to share.
Why Share Your Activities?
- Motivation -- Seeing colleagues' activities in the feed inspires others to stay active
- Accountability -- Knowing your team can see your workouts adds a layer of positive accountability
- Community building -- Shared fitness journeys create stronger workplace connections
- Recognition -- Your effort deserves to be celebrated, and the feed is the place for it
- Challenge engagement -- During active challenges, sharing your progress keeps team energy high
Tips for Great Activity Posts
- Share your wins and your grind -- Not every post needs to be a record-breaking achievement. A consistent daily walk is just as share-worthy.
- Add context -- "First run after recovering from a cold" tells a story that colleagues can relate to
- Engage back -- When colleagues share their activities, take a moment to like or comment. Building community is a two-way street.
Sharing Badges
You can also share badges you earn — milestone achievements, challenge wins, streak completions — to the feed or to external platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Badges live in the Badges section of your profile; tap a badge to see the share options. See What Are Badges in Vantage Fit? for the full list of badges and how to earn them.
