What are badges and how do I earn them?

Updated May 12, 2026 Employee

Badges are achievements you unlock through your activity in Vantage Fit. They celebrate your milestones — from your first 3,000-step day to completing a marathon distance. Each badge is animated and displayed in your personal collection.

Badge Categories

There are 7 badge categories, each recognizing a different type of achievement:

1. Daily Steps (10 Levels)

Earned by hitting step milestones in a single day:

Level Steps Required
1 3,000 steps
2 5,000 steps
3 7,000 steps
4 10,000 steps
5 12,000 steps
6 15,000 steps
7 18,000 steps
8 22,000 steps
9 30,000 steps
10 40,000 steps

Tip: You earn the badge each time you hit the milestone, not just the first time. Your badge display shows how many times you've achieved each level.

2. Runs (5 Levels)

Earned by completing GPS-tracked runs of increasing distance:

Level Distance
1 1 km
2 3 km
3 5 km
4 10 km (half marathon prep)
5 42.2 km (marathon)

3. Level Up

Earned when you advance to a new level within the app's progression system.

4. Consistency (Streaks)

Earned by maintaining activity streaks — consecutive days of meeting your targets. The longer your streak, the higher the badge tier.

5. Rank

Earned by reaching specific rank milestones (ranks 1 through 10) on the leaderboard.

6. Challenge Completion

Earned each time you successfully complete a challenge from start to finish.

7. Best Walk

Earned for your highest single-day walking distance achievements.

Viewing Your Badges

  1. Open the drawer menu (swipe from the left or tap the menu icon).
  2. Tap My Badges.
  3. Browse your badge collection.

Each badge displays:

  • The badge icon with an animation when you first earn it.
  • An achievement count showing how many times you've earned that badge (e.g., you might earn the 10,000-step badge 47 times).
  • Locked badges appear dimmed, showing you what to aim for next.

Tips for Earning More Badges

  • Walk more on weekends — Longer walks on free days can unlock higher step badge levels.
  • Try GPS-tracked runs — Even short 1km jogs unlock the first running badge.
  • Stay consistent — Streak badges reward showing up every day, even if your activity is modest.
  • Complete challenges — Every challenge you finish earns you a Challenge Completion badge.
