Yes, you can. If you prefer to participate in challenges without being visible on the rankings, Vantage Fit gives you a simple toggle to hide yourself from the leaderboard.
How to Opt Out
- Go to Settings (tap your profile icon, then Settings).
- Find the Leaderboard Opt-out toggle.
- Turn it on.
That's it. You're now hidden from all leaderboard rankings.
What Happens When You Opt Out
- You're hidden from rankings. Your name and score won't appear on the individual leaderboard. Other participants won't see you.
- You still participate in challenges. Your activities still count, your tasks still complete, and your progress is still tracked.
- You still earn points. Challenge completion rewards, milestone rewards, and task-based points continue to accumulate in your wallet as normal.
- Your scores still count for your team. If you're part of a team, your activity still contributes to your team's average score. Opting out hides you from the individual leaderboard, but your team benefits from your effort.
Note: Opting out is about privacy on the individual leaderboard. It does not remove you from the challenge itself.
Opting Back In
Changed your mind? Simply go back to Settings and turn the Leaderboard Opt-out toggle off. Your scores will reappear on the leaderboard immediately.
You can toggle this on and off as many times as you like.
Why Opt Out?
Some common reasons people opt out:
- Privacy preference — You'd rather not have colleagues see your activity levels.
- Reducing pressure — You want to focus on personal wellness without competitive stress.
- Returning from inactivity — You're getting back into a routine and prefer not to appear at the bottom while ramping up.
Whatever the reason, opting out is completely normal and has no negative effect on your rewards or participation.
