How do I get my challenge certificate?

Updated May 12, 2026 Employee

Completing a wellness challenge is an achievement worth recognizing. If your challenge has certificates enabled, Vantage Fit generates one for you automatically -- no forms to fill out, no requests to make.

How Certificates Are Generated

Certificates are auto-generated when a challenge ends. After the challenge reaches its end date and the 3-day buffer period passes (to capture any late step syncs), the system creates certificates for all qualifying participants.

The certificate uses a Vantage Fit template that your HR admin has customized with:

  • Your company's logo -- displayed prominently on the certificate
  • A company signature -- if your admin has uploaded one (typically the HR head or wellness program lead)
  • Your name -- as it appears in your Vantage Fit profile
  • Challenge details -- the challenge name, duration, and your achievement

Note: Not every challenge includes certificates. Your HR admin decides whether to enable them when setting up the challenge. If a challenge doesn't have certificates, you won't see a download option after it ends.

Where to Find Your Certificate

  1. Open the Challenges tab in Vantage Fit
  2. Tap the Past tab to see your completed challenges
  3. Tap on the challenge you want the certificate for
  4. Look for the Certificate section in the challenge detail view

Downloading Your Certificate

Once you're viewing your certificate, tap the Download button to save it to your device. The certificate is saved as an image file that you can:

  • Share on social media or your company's internal channels
  • Save to your phone's photo library
  • Email to yourself for your records
  • Print for display

Tip: Share your certificate on the Vantage Fit social feed to celebrate your accomplishment with colleagues. A little recognition goes a long way in motivating others to join the next challenge.

What If I Don't See My Certificate?

There are a few reasons you might not find a certificate after a challenge ends:

  • Certificates weren't enabled -- Your admin may not have turned on certificates for that particular challenge. This is the most common reason.
  • The buffer period hasn't ended -- Certificates are generated after the 3-day post-challenge buffer. If the challenge just ended, check back in a few days.
  • You didn't meet the qualifying criteria -- Some challenges require a minimum completion percentage to earn a certificate. Check the challenge rules to see if there was a minimum threshold.

If you believe you should have received a certificate but can't find one, reach out to your HR admin. They can check the certificate settings and your completion status from the admin dashboard.
