Challenges are the heart of Vantage Fit, and the web app gives you full access to view, join, and track them right from your browser. When you sign in to the web app, the Challenges tab is the first thing you see — it's the default landing page.
Navigating the Challenges Tab
The Challenges tab is your home base on the web. It shows all challenges available to you, organized by status:
- Ongoing — challenges currently in progress that you can participate in
- Upcoming — challenges that haven't started yet but are open for joining
- Past — completed challenges where you can review final results
Each challenge card shows the challenge name, type, duration, and a quick summary of what's involved.
Tip: The Challenges tab loads automatically when you sign in. You can always get back to it by clicking Challenges in the top navigation.
Viewing Challenge Details
Click on any challenge card to see its full details. The challenge detail page includes:
Tasks and Rules
- Challenge tasks — the specific activities you need to complete (e.g., walk 10,000 steps, log 30 minutes of yoga, complete a bite-size quiz)
- Rules — how the challenge is scored, what counts, and any restrictions
- Duration — start and end dates
- Your progress — how far along you are on each task
Challenge Progress
Your progress is displayed for each task in the challenge. You can see:
- How much you've completed vs. the target
- Whether each task is on track, completed, or behind
- Your overall challenge completion percentage
Viewing Leaderboards
Leaderboards let you see how you stack up against other participants. From any challenge detail page, you can access the leaderboard.
Individual Leaderboard
The individual leaderboard ranks all participants by their challenge score. You'll see:
- Rank — each participant's position
- Name — participant name and avatar
- Score — points or progress earned
- "You" row — your own position is highlighted so you can quickly spot where you stand
Team Leaderboard
If the challenge is team-based, you can switch to the team leaderboard to see how teams are performing:
- Team rank — overall team position
- Team name — the team's name and member count
- Team score — combined score of all team members
Click on a team to see its individual members and their contributions.
Filtering and Pagination
- Filter by time period — narrow the leaderboard to a specific date range to see performance over time
- Pagination — leaderboards display 10 entries per page. Use the page navigation at the bottom to browse through all participants or teams.
Tip: Check the leaderboard regularly to stay motivated. Even if you're not at the top, seeing your progress improve over time is a great motivator.
Viewing Team Members and Rankings
If you're part of a team challenge, you can view your team's details:
- Go to the Team Leaderboard from the challenge detail page.
- Click on your team (or any team) to expand it.
- You'll see each team member listed with their individual contribution to the team score.
This is helpful for understanding who's driving the team's performance and where your team might need a boost.
Viewing User Profiles
You can click on any participant's name in the leaderboard to view their profile. This shows basic information about the user and their activity within the challenge.
Ongoing, Upcoming, and Past Challenges
Here's what each section gives you:
| Status | What You Can Do |
|---|---|
| Ongoing | Join (if invited), view progress, track tasks, check leaderboards |
| Upcoming | Preview details, accept invitation early so you're ready when it starts |
| Past | Review final results, see where you ranked, view completed tasks |
Past challenges are read-only — you can't join or log activities for them, but they're a useful record of your participation history.
