The Today page is your daily wellness snapshot on the Vantage Fit web app. It shows your activity for the day, your challenge progress, and gives you quick access to log basic health data — all without needing the mobile app.
Getting to the Today Page
- Open a Vantage Fit email and click Open Vantage Fit. If prompted, sign in with your work email and password.
- Click the My Activity tab in the top navigation.
- You'll land on the Today page.
What the Today Page Shows
The Today page brings together several pieces of your daily wellness data in one view:
Date Selector
At the top of the Today page, you'll see a date selector that lets you browse through different days. This is useful for:
- Reviewing what you did yesterday or earlier in the week
- Checking whether you logged everything for a past date
- Browsing ahead to see upcoming challenge tasks
Click the left or right arrows to navigate between days, or click the date to open a calendar picker.
Ongoing Challenge Progress
If you're enrolled in any active challenges, the Today page displays your challenge progress front and center. You'll see:
- The challenge name and type
- Your current task progress (how much you've completed vs. the target)
- Visual progress indicators
This gives you a quick at-a-glance view of whether you're on track without having to navigate to the full Challenges tab.
Logged Activities for the Day
Below the challenge section, you'll see all activities logged for the selected date, including:
- Activity name — what you logged (e.g., Running, Yoga, Weight Training)
- Time — when it was logged
- Calories burned — the estimated calorie burn for that activity
- Activity type — the category the activity belongs to
If you haven't logged anything for the day yet, this section will be empty — a reminder to go log your workout.
Steps and Calorie Data
The Today page also displays your step count and calorie data for the day. On the web app, step data is synced from your connected mobile device or wearable — the web itself doesn't track steps, but it displays whatever has been recorded through your phone or tracker.
Note: If your step count shows zero on the web, it likely means you haven't synced from your mobile device today. Open the Vantage Fit mobile app to trigger a sync.
Health Articles Carousel
At the bottom of the Today page, you'll find a health articles carousel featuring curated wellness content. Swipe or click through to browse topics like nutrition, stress management, fitness tips, and mental health.
Clicking on an article takes you to the full article view within the web app.
Quick-Log: Water, Mood, Weight, and Sleep
One of the most useful features of the Today page is the ability to quick-log basic health data without needing the mobile app. You'll see quick-log buttons for:
Water Intake
- Click the Water button to open a popup dialog.
- Enter the number of glasses (or your preferred unit) you've had today.
- Save — your water intake is recorded for the day.
Mood
- Click the Mood button to open the mood tracker.
- Select how you're feeling from the available options.
- Save — your mood is logged for the day.
Weight
- Click the Weight button to enter your current weight.
- Enter the value in your preferred unit (kg or lbs).
- Save — this updates your weight record and contributes to your health profile trends.
Sleep
- Click the Sleep button to log how many hours you slept.
- Enter the duration.
- Save — your sleep data is recorded.
Tip: You can quick-log water, mood, weight, and sleep directly from the Today page — no need to switch to the mobile app for basic health logging. This is especially handy if you're at your desk and want to quickly record a glass of water or your morning weight.
Browsing Past Days
Use the date selector to review any past day. When you select a previous date, the Today page updates to show:
- Activities logged on that date
- Challenge progress as of that date
- Any water, mood, weight, or sleep entries for that date
This makes the Today page a simple daily diary — you can scroll back through the week to see your patterns.
Today Page vs. Activity Stats
The Today page focuses on a single day's view. If you want to see a broader picture of your activity over time (weekly trends, total steps, cumulative progress), check out the Activity Stats page, which is also accessible from the My Activity section.
| View | Best For |
|---|---|
| Today page | Daily snapshot — what happened today, quick logging |
| Activity Stats | Longer-term trends and cumulative data |
| Logged Activities | Full history of every activity you've logged |
