Getting enough sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your health. Vantage Fit lets you track your sleep either by logging it manually or by syncing data from a connected wearable.
How to Log Sleep Manually
- Tap the Plus (+) button from any screen.
- Select Log Sleep for Today — a popup will appear.
- Enter your sleep duration (hours and minutes).
- Tap Save.
That's it. Your sleep entry is recorded for today.
Tip: Log your sleep first thing in the morning while you still remember how long you slept.
Auto-Tracked Sleep from Wearables
If you've connected a wearable device, your sleep data can sync automatically:
- Apple Watch — Sleep data flows through Apple Health
- Fitbit — Syncs via Fitbit integration
- Other Health Connect-compatible devices — Android wearables that write to Health Connect
When your wearable records a sleep session, it syncs to Vantage Fit the next time the app refreshes. No manual entry needed.
Note: Make sure your wearable's sleep tracking is enabled and that Vantage Fit has permission to read health data on your device.
Viewing Your Sleep Data
You can view your sleep history in two places:
- Diary View — Tap the Activity Rings card on summary page, then use the date picker to browse sleep entries for any day.
- Trends — The 7-day sleep trend on summary page shows a bar chart of your nightly sleep duration, making it easy to spot patterns.
Tips for Better Sleep Tracking
- Be consistent — Log sleep every day to build a complete picture of your habits.
- Use a wearable — Automatic tracking is more accurate and requires no effort.
- Check your trends — The 7-day trend helps you notice if you're consistently short on sleep.
