What activities can I track in Vantage Fit?

Vantage Fit tracks 65+ activity types — from steps counted automatically by your phone to manual logging of yoga, swimming, and strength training. Your company may also add custom branded activities.

Auto-Tracked (No Action Needed)

These are tracked automatically by your phone or connected wearable:

  • Steps — counted all day via Apple Health (iPhone) or Google Fit, Fitbit, or Garmin (Android)
  • Distance — calculated from steps or GPS workouts
  • Calories burned — estimated from steps and activities
  • Active minutes — time spent in moderate-to-vigorous activity (if enabled by your company)
  • Heart rate — from a connected wearable (Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin)
  • Sleep — from a connected wearable (auto-detected)

GPS-Tracked Workouts

Start a GPS workout from the Plus (+) menu → Start Outdoor Activity:

  • Running — real-time map, pace, splits, distance
  • Walking — same tracking as running
  • Cycling — map and distance, no pace limit
  • Wheelchair — accessible GPS tracking

Manual Activities (Tap to Log)

Open the Plus (+) menu → Log Activity to choose from:

Cardio

Running, Walking, Cycling, Jogging, Hiking, Swimming, Spinning, HIIT, Zumba, Aerobics, Plogging, Elliptical

Sports

Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Dancing, Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, Martial Arts, Golf, Pickleball, Bowling, Kayaking, Rock Climbing

Strength

Bench Press (reps or minutes), Squats (reps or minutes), Deadlifts, Leg Press, Rowing, Weight Training Session

Mind & Body

Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness, Pilates, Book Reading, Journaling

Other

Gardening, Snow Shovelling, VR Headset Workout, Doctor Visit, Calisthenics, CrossFit, P90X

Health Logging

Quick-log from the Plus (+) menu or from summary page diary:

  • Water (Log Today's Water Intake) — +/- buttons (each tap = 1 glass / 250ml), or type exact amount
  • Mood (Track Mood) — 1-5 scale with optional reasons
  • Sleep (Log Sleep for Today) — log duration
  • Weight (Update Weight) — log current weight
  • Smoking cessation — log if you avoided smoking today

Camera-Based Tracking

  • Squat Tracker — AI pose detection counts your squats via your phone's camera
  • Heart Rate — place your finger on the camera lens for a pulse reading

Custom Activities (from Your Employer)

Your company may have added branded activities specific to your workplace:

  • Loggable Activities — custom activities like "Office Yoga," "Walking Meetings," or "Desk Stretches." Find these under Plus (+) → Log Activity.
  • Daily Habits — daily habit check-ins like "Avoid Sugar," "Take Medication," or "Consume Leafy Greens." Find these in the Plus (+) menu's "More" section.

Tip: Custom activities appear in challenges too — your admin can set "Complete 3 Walking Meetings this week" as a challenge task.

Workout Import (from Wearables)

If you completed a workout on your Apple Watch, Garmin, or Fitbit, Vantage Fit can import it:

  1. The app detects the workout in Apple Health or Health Connect
  2. You receive a notification: "Workout ready to import"
  3. Tap to import — the workout is added with distance, duration, calories, route, and splits

Supported import types: Running, Walking, Cycling, Wheelchair.
