If a challenge that you expect to see is not appearing in your app, there are several possible reasons. Let us walk through them.
Check 1: Are You Enrolled?
Not all challenges are open to everyone. Your HR admin may have created a Private challenge that only includes specific employees.
What to do: Ask your HR admin if you are enrolled in the challenge. If not, they can add you from the Manage Challenge page.
Check 2: Does the Challenge Target Your Group?
Private challenges use target audience filters — country, city, department, gender, age range, and more. If you do not match the filters, the challenge will not be visible to you.
What to do: Ask your HR admin what the target criteria are. They may need to adjust the filters or add you manually.
Check 3: Are You Looking in the Right Tab?
Challenges appear in different tabs based on their status:

| Ongoing | Challenges that are currently active. |
| Upcoming | Challenges that have not started yet. |
| Past | Challenges that have already ended. |
If you are only checking the home screen carousel, you might miss challenges that are listed under a different tab.
What to do:
- Open the Challenges section in the app.
- Check the Ongoing tab first.
- Then check the Upcoming tab — the challenge may not have started yet.
Check 4: Check Your Email for an Invitation
Some challenges are invitation-based. Your HR admin may have sent you an invitation via email or push notification.
What to do:
- Check your email inbox (and spam/junk) for a challenge invitation from Vantage Fit.
- Check your phone's notification history for a push notification about the challenge.
- If you find an invitation, tap the link or button to join.
Check 5: Has the Challenge Started Yet?
If the challenge has a future start date, it will appear under the Upcoming tab, not under Ongoing.
What to do: Check the Upcoming tab. The challenge will move to Ongoing once the start date arrives.
Check 6: Refresh the App
Sometimes the app needs a refresh to show newly created or recently updated challenges.
What to do:
- Pull down on the challenges screen to refresh.
- Or close and reopen the app.
- Check if the challenge now appears.
Check 7: Is Your App Up to Date?
Older app versions may have compatibility issues with newer challenge formats.
What to do: Update Vantage Fit from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to the latest version.
Still Not Showing?
If you have checked all of the above and the challenge still does not appear:
- Contact your HR admin. They can verify whether the challenge targets your profile and whether you are enrolled.
- Your HR admin can manually add you to the challenge from the Summary Page if needed.
