What is Lite Mode?

Updated May 13, 2026 Employee

If your Vantage Fit app feels simpler than what you've seen described in other articles — no meal logging, no sleep tracking, just steps — your company is using Lite Mode.

What Lite Mode Means for You

Your employer has chosen a steps-focused version of Vantage Fit. This means:

  • Step tracking works normally — your phone counts steps via Apple Health on iPhone or Google Fit on Android just like the full version.
  • Challenges are Race format — straightforward step competitions.
  • Leaderboard, points, and rewards all work the same.
  • Social feed is available.

Other features are either locked or hidden:

  • Onboarding health profile — no height, weight, age, or fitness goal setup. You accept Terms & Conditions and you're in.
  • Nutrition, water, sleep, or mood logging
  • GPS workout tracking
  • Health Risk Assessment or Wellness Score
  • Two Activity Rings (you'll see one — steps only)

How to Tell If You're in Lite Mode

  • You see one Activity Ring (steps) instead of two
  • Tapping the Plus (+) button only shows Sync
  • There's no option to log meals, water, sleep, or mood

Can I Get the Full Version?

The mode is a company-wide setting chosen by your HR admin — it's not something you can change individually. If you'd like access to the full feature set, let your HR team know.
